Description

There is always someone special aboard a CNB. A sailor who values performance, safety and luxury. An adventure seeker who truly loves the sea.

The CNB 78 redefines what an offshore sailing yacht should be. An evolution of the CNB 76, the world's best selling maxi yacht built in series with 32 hulls afloat, the CNB 78 takes on the same style and functionality but now offers even brighter, larger spaces where every detail has been designed for pleasure while sailing or at anchor.

A discerning yachtsman who may be considering a new Swan, Oyster, YYachts or other luxury sailing vessel should take a close look at the CNB 78 or the flagship CNB 88. There is simply nothing like it.

This is a new yacht, built to order, presented by the exclusive CNB representative for residents of North America for delivery worldwide. Congratulations to my client from Miami who purchased hull #5. Inquire to reserve the next production slot for Spring 2025 delivery, while still available. Financing available for qualified USA residents.

View hull #5 at the Cannes Yachting Festival 10 - 15 September 2024. Call for demo sail appointment.

CNB 78 Design by Philippe Briand

CNB 78 Design by Philippe Briand.

"The CNB 78 is a worthy successor to the legendary CNB 76 -- the best selling maxi yacht built in series with 32 hulls afloat. To extend this success, the CNB 78 is an evolution rather than a revolution compared with the 76. We have kept all the features that made the 76 a yacht designed for easy ownership and use:

• A waterline length of less than 24 m to facilitate regulatory compliance.

• The ability to be managed by a reduced crew of two or three persons.

• A forward owner’s cabin for privacy and aft garage with longitudinal tender storage.

We have, however, introduced new ideas that were close to our hearts, following my personal and extensive experiences sailing the 76:

• The hull is new and has more volume in both the bow and stern, inspired by he latest racing prototypes.

• On deck, the priority is the lifestyle of our owners facilitated by a cockpit with an "urban" design.

• Great luminosity below decks was a key objective and has been delivered with a glazed rear wall of the coach roof, the view from the saloon is panoramic through 360°.

And most importantly, the CNB 78 benefits from the construction expertise of the Solaris shipyard. The result is a yacht able to voyage comfortably with style, safety and performance."

"I was especially pleased that Solaris wanted to continue the style that we designed and created for the CNB 76. This is in recognition of the remarkable success of this model.

The new CNB range, and the 78 in particular, are both classic and innovative, resolutely contemporary, elegant, bright, comfortable, and above all a joy to be aboard. The CNB 78 benefits above all from the opportunities offered by its brand new hull, which enabled us to achieve unequaled improvements in volume and perceived space, particularly in the forward part of the yacht, creating a main cabin virtually equal in volume to a 90+ foot yacht.

All these transformations, combined with the construction quality of Solaris, in particular its superb cabinetmaking, will make the CNB 78 a new reference point in its market."
