Interior Walkthrough

"Rob Roy" is the desirable two-cabin owner's version layout. Stepping below through the companionway, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting interior, finished in rich mahogany Alpi wood with a bright and open feel thanks to multiple hatches and portlights. The two-cabin layout provides an optimal balance between comfort and functionality.

Main Salon

The main salon is open and airy, featuring:

• A U-shaped dinette to starboard with a large wooden dining table that can convert into an additional berth if needed.
• A straight settee to port, offering additional seating or lounging space.
• Overhead deck hatches and side windows allow plenty of natural light and ventilation.
• There are plenty of storage cabinets along both port and starboard sides.
• LED lighting throughout for an inviting atmosphere.

Galley (Port Side)

The L-shaped galley to port is well-equipped for extended cruising, featuring:

• A double stainless steel sink with hot/cold pressurized water.
• A two-burner propane stove with oven.
• A top-loading freezer and front-loading refrigerator.
• Ample countertop space with a solid surface finish.
• There are plenty of storage cabinets and drawers for cookware and provisions.

Navigation Station (Starboard Side)

Just aft of the dinette is the dedicated nav station, which includes:

• A chart table with a lifting top for storing charts and navigation tools.
• A comfortable nav seat.
• Electrical panel and breakers for easy access to systems.
• Space for electronics and communication devices such as a VHF radio, GPS, and autopilot controls.

Owner’s Stateroom (Forward)

The owner’s cabin is located in the bow and offers:

• A centerline queen berth with easy access from both sides.
• A Hanging locker and drawer storage.
• Overhead hatches with built-in screens for ventilation.
• Private en-suite head with separate stall shower, sink, and marine toilet.

Guest Cabin (Aft)

The aft cabin is generously sized and features:

• A large double berth, well-lit with hull-side and cockpit windows.
• (2) hanging lockers and storage compartments.
• Excellent ventilation from opening hatches and portlights.

Day Head (Aft - Starboard Side)

The aft head, located just aft of the nav station, includes:

• A marine toilet (Electric Flush)
• A separate enclosed shower.
• A vanity with sink and storage.
• Opening hatches for ventilation.

Hull and Deck

HULL

The Beneteau 46 is hand-laid solid GRP bonded to a structural grid/hull liner of directional fiberglass/GRP for a strong, stiff, light composite. A vinylester hull barrier coat is used to resist osmotic blistering and zone-specific stitch mat laminates for specific increased strength optimization. Cored GRP sandwich construction for stiffness, thermal and acoustic insulation, and lighter weight. Solid fiberglass reinforcements in high-load areas. Integral unidirectional GRP deck beams for added strength. Main bulkheads bonded 360° to the hull and deck for rigid torsional and compressive strength.
