Remove, prep and install new gasket on aft bait well, port aft storage compartment and anchor locker.

Remove and replace bi-color pop up navigation. Direct replacement light is smaller, had to fabricate mounting plate. Float switch for aft bilge pump bad. Replaced switch.

Remove existing Furuno NavNet MFD, Fusion stereo and Icom VHF from main dash panel

(Fusion to be reinstalled), including all associated wires and cabling;

Remove existing GPS antenna, VHF and FM antenna from T-Top;

Remove existing VHF speaker from T-Top;

Fabrication and installation of new dash panel in helm;

Installation of new Garmin 8616 in dash with connection to power;

Installation of NMEA backbone with connection to MFD and power;

Installation of Fusion head unit and VHF radio in dash with connection to power and NMEA BB;

Installation of new active VHF active speaker on T-top with connection to VHF radio as required;

Installation of GXM54 on T-Top in same location as prior GPS antenna with connection to power, 8616 and Fusion;

Manufacturers Description

A proven tournament winner, the Contender 31 Open is a

brawny, top-quality fisherman whose meticulous finish and

high-performance capabilities placed her in the forefront of large

center console fishing machines. The high-tech hull is vacuum

bagged and cored above the waterline with wide reverse chines

and two lifting strakes per side to provide a dry ride. A single level

cockpit makes the Contender an easier boat to move around

than those center consoles with larger consoles. Features include

an integrated dive platform with ladder, two 40-gallon livewells,

transom door, deluxe leaning post with rod holders and tackle

center, in-deck fish boxes (two fully lined 400-qt. boxes forward,

two 225-qt. boxes aft), recessed bow rails, raw-water washdown,

gunnel rod holders, cockpit rod storage, recessed trim tabs, walk-in

console with marine head, cockpit bolsters and an anchor locker.

Note optional fuel capacity to 400 gallons. A fast ride in

the most challenging conditions, the Contender 31 will reach over

45 knots top with twin 250hp Yamaha outboards.
