Description
Mr. Ed presents an opportunity to own an affordable cruising / liveaboard yacht that will not need to spend time in a shipyard for years to come. It has just completed an eight plus month refit which included a full Awlcraft 2000 paint job, new interior carpeting and furniture, remodeled master bath, new canvas and cushions and much more. The custom design gives an open flow from the pilot house to the aft deck giving the feel of a much larger yacht. The cockpit was added prior to 2001, extending her from 63’ to 70’
Pilothouse: Accessed from port and starboard sliding doors, you will find a teak helm with updated electronics, analog guages and the electric breaker panel There is a comfortable bench seat under the opening panels to the galley. The sole in the pilot house and galley were installed in June 2021. The pilothouse windows were removed and rebedded during the refit.
Galley: Just aft of the pilot house you will find expansive, beautiful granite counter tops, smooth cook-top (new May 2021), double stainless – steel sink under opening pass-thru to the salon, stainless dishwasher, fridge and double ovens. New LED lighting.There is very generous cabinet and drawer space.
Salon: All of the carpeting and furniture were new in spring 2021. The forward end of the salon features a bistro style round table and chairs across from the wet bar and icemaker. Further aft there is a full size sofa an armchair and another comfortable chair across from the entertainment center with flat screen TV.
Aft deck: Accessed via double sliding glass doors, you find a teak decked spacious and versatile area that is full beam with a comfortable seating area with a coffee table as well as another bistro table and chairs. This area has reverse cycle air conditioning or can be opened up via the new isinglass panels and the sliding wing doors. There is also a custom awning giving great shade across the aft deck.
Cockpit: This adds great versatility for line handling, fishing, water sports, boarding when stern to or just relaxing with a ‘sundowner’. New swim platform March 2021.
Flybridge: Easy access from stairway in salon, helm station with complete controls and electronics. Three Release Captain chairs, wet bar with new refrigerator, teak sole, bench seating with dining table, aft facing seating, rebuilt 1,000 lb. davit, space for dinghy or jet ski, 8 man liferaft. New bimini, new windshield. KVH satellite antenna.
Foredeck:Bow seat with new cushions and cover, electric windlass & capstan. Glendinning operated shore cords. Teak and stainless hand rails.
Master stateroom:Private entrance via stairs from salon features king sized bed, full beam, hanging locker, walk-in closet, ample drawer space, entertainment center with flat screen TV. Bathroom totally remodelled with custom tiled walk-in shower, new counter top and basin new head & pump, new sole.
VIP stateroom:Queen size bed, hanging locker, drawers, brand new air conditioning, private ensuite head and shower, deck hatch.
Guest cabins:Port side, double bed, hanging locker, drawers. Starboard cabin has upper and lower bunk beds, hanging locker & drawers. Both cabins have reverse cycle air conditioning and share the head and shower with separate doors.
Engine Room:Full beam walk in engine room with good access to all machinery. All batteries were replaced Spring 2021, engines & generator serviced, painted, hoses replaced, New 12v battery charger, A/C system serviced, vacuum head pumps replaced. Less than 2500 hours on mains.
Laundry:Full size washer and dryer located outside engine room in small pantry area.
Electronics:Robertson AP9 auto pilot, Naiad stabilizers, Side Power bow thruster, Garmin GPS 5212, Furuno radar, Azimuth 1000 electronic compass, Icom VHF, analog engine gauges.
