This classic cutter was built in 2013 with modern techniques but with handmade quality at the forefront, thus bridging the gap between custom and production yachts. The twin helm center cockpit layout means winches and lines are readily available and her helm placement provides sailors with an excellent view of sail trim, while guests have plenty of room to relax while under sail. Passing through the cockpit to the aft deck is easy and safe. Her plumb bow, carbon rig, teak decks, and all-new Furuno electronics make Blue Star a remarkable and unique cruising yacht. Outfitted for long passages, she is the one-of-a-kind bluewater cruiser you’ve been dreaming of.
Blue Star is not only equipped and designed to modern day standards: she raises the bar for today’s cruising yachts. She features Yanmar 260 HP diesel propulsion, bow and stern thrusters, two generators, air conditioning, watermaker, washer/dryer, all-new canvas, and a 14’ AB center-console dinghy with 40 HP Yamaha. Blue Star is equipped with a full luxury gallery that includes Sahara corian counter tops, stainless steel appliances and several comfort amenities including dishwasher, built-in coffee maker and convection oven, ice maker, washer/dryer, trash compactor, and wine chiller.
