and built by Carroll Marine.  

This racer/cruiser is known for it's 9' max draft and a wider beam at 13'6". Her spacious below deck interior is a surprise for a racing boat. The Tripp 47' has xcellent light-air performance thanks to its generous sail configuration, and capabilities for both racing and comfortable blue water cruising. It offers versatile features, making it an easy choice for serious cruising, family use, club racing (PHRF rating of 1!) , or even liveaboard situations, with well-appointed accommodations and durable finishes like the newly installed below deck table that seats 6.

She has raced and performed well in multiple Chicago Mac races, Tripp Cups, Clipper cups, Queen's Cups as well as regular club racing. Has been in fresh water for past 7/8 years. 3 owners known.

The keel was refar-ed and re-bedded in 2021 with 4200 polysulfite.
