Owners Comments
Wild T’ing has never disappointed either as a club racer or weekend family cruiser. She accelerates very quickly off the start line, and can out point most production boats in its class. The helm is extremely well balanced requiring the lightest touch for wind adjustment. She heads up automatically in a slight lift and down in a header . She is a pleasure to sail and extremely rewarding to its owner. She has had many podium finishes at the Heineken Regatta in St Martin, the Nanny Cay regatta in the BVI and in 2024 won the St Thomas international regatta in the jib and main class.
She is fully race optimized with harken equipment and top of the line halyards and sheets.
When under power the 4 blade feathering Max Prop gives the boat that extra punch in a heavy sea or when working against a strong negative current. She has minimal prop walk making docking and maneuvering well controlled and predictable. The Max Prop makes this possible while retaining the added performance advantage of a very low drag coefficient when under sail.
I’ve enjoyed this vessel immensely but time of life is limiting my ability to enjoy even more. She is in need of a new loving owner.
The existing instrumentation will work but will need to be replaced in a few years .
Wild T’ing has been loved tenderly and meticulously maintained. Her bilge has always been completely dry so occasionally you have to put some water into the bilge to ensure the pump is working properly ,
I’m looking forward to handing her over to a new and caring owner.
