Description
The Beneteau First 10R is a sailboat designed by Farr Yacht Design and built by Beneteau between 2005 and 2009. It is a 32'10" (9.99m) cruiser-racer sailboat with a deep T-shaped keel, ideal for racing and cruising. The First 10R has a separate head, navigation station, and full galley, making it a comfortable liveaboard option.
Design and Performance
The First 10R features an aggressive sailplan, an iron blade/lead bulb combo keel, and an asymmetrical spinnaker, designed to provide excellent performance and speed. The boat has a direct steering system, allowing for quick and easy turns, and is equipped with Harken running rigging systems for reliable performance in various weather conditions.

The First 10R uses a revolutionary new construction technique combining infused hull and injected deck methods, resulting in a strong and lightweight structure. The boat?s design and construction were piloted in France before production began at the Marion, South Carolina, plant.
