Vessel Walkthrough
CoCo Solo is ideally set up for coastal cruising or taking on the Loop. You will not find a 34 foot vessel with more room, thanks in part to its' wide 14 ft 3 in beam. With a draft of only 3 ft 4 in it is ideal for transiting those shallow areas that you may encounter in your travels. The single Yanmar diesel provides exceptional fuel economy and range when traveling at a leisurely 7 knots but can get up and run at 16 knots if needed. The diesel generator provides power for all onboard electrical needs.
When stepping aboard CoCo Solo from the stern there is a large swim platform and a transom door for easy entry to the cockpit. The cockpit and deck are fiberglass non-skid for easy clean up. The wide side decks, port and starboard, have high bulwarks and railings for secure passage to the bow.
There are two swing open doors for entry into the salon from the cockpit. The salon has synthetic flooring and an overhead grab rail. To starboard is the electrical control panel and a nice sofa which converts to a bed. Forward on the starboard side is a lower helm station with full electronics and a watertight door allowing direct access to the starboard side deck. To port is a storage cabinet and two free standing chairs.
Continuing forward on the portside is the galley which is located 3 steps down from the salon. It also has synthetic flooring with storage beneath and all needed galley appliances which are electric. The large head is located forward of the galley on the starboard side and features a large separate shower stall and a Vacu-Flush toilet. The head can be accessed directly from the companionway or directly from the forward master stateroom.
The master stateroom is located all the way forward and has a large centerline berth. A hanging locker is located to port and a storage cabinet to starboard. There is additional storage below the berth and an overhead hatch. The master stateroom also has synthetic flooring.
The bridge is accessed from the cockpit by steps starboard of the salon entrance. The bridge is very large and you will not believe you are on the bridge of a 34 foot boat. All the way forward is the well-equipped helm with three individual helm seats. Seating is located aft of the helm on the starboard side and there is a large L shaped seating area on the portside with a fold down table. The bridge has a full eisenglas enclosure and the deck is fiberglass non-skid. Aft of the seating area is a large open deck area perfect for lounge chairs.
Engine room access is gained from the cockpit by lifting up the hinged steps that lead to the bridge. The engine room is well laid out with access to needed maintenance points for the generator and main engine. The Yanmar 370hp engine provides excellent range and performance. You can leisurely cruise at 6 knots burning about 3 gallons per hour or step up to the 16-17 knot top speed if needed. Range is around 500 miles at cruise speed.
CoCo Solo also has a 2023 Zodiac 9 ft 10 inch tender that is included along with an electric motor so it is easy to get to shore when anchored off your favorite sandbar or island. The tender is kept on a custom lift system which stores the tender aft of the bridge deck so the swim platform access is not obstructed. There is an electric motor for raising the tender from the water to its stored position.
This vessel has been very well maintained both cosmetically and mechanically and is kept in a covered slip. Although the current owner purchased the vessel with plans to travel the Great Loop, his plans have changed. The cruising guides he purchased in preparation for his Loop trip are even included with the boat. If you are looking for a great coastal cruiser that is economical to run and offers the space of a larger boat you should look at CoCo Solo. ASKING $199,000
