Description

CALLIOPE is in excellent condition and has been continually upgraded. She is a very capable yacht that has cruised around the world on her own bottom. Her versatile layout can incorporate the bridge deck stateroom as a guest stateroom for a total of 6 staterooms, but it is equally useable as the Captain’s cabin. In 2022 the current owner, a very knowledgeable yachtsman, added a bulbous bow for even better performance and fuel economy. She is in class with ABS and compliant under PYLC Marshall Islands for charter up to 12 guests.

    OVERVIEW

CALLIOPE shows in immaculate condition and has been cared for by a meticulous owner and crew. CALLIOPE has excellent charter potential, her shallow draft allows for cruising in remote locations all over the world and she is a proven world cruising motor yacht, having completed a three-year circumnavigation.

Depending on the use and configuration needed, CALLIOPE can be a comfortable 6 stateroom yacht. Under her present ownership she operates as a five stateroom yacht.

Her bridge deck stateroom, presently used as the Captain’s cabin, was originally designed as a guest suite for an owner that wanted to run the yacht as an owner/operator and who wanted to be close to the bridge. In that case, as it was under one of her previous owners, the Captain relocates to the starboard side aft crew stateroom.

    ACCOMMODATIONS

    ¨    Sleeps 10 guests in 5 staterooms or 12 in 6 staterooms

¨    1 x full beam master on main deck with his and her en suite bathrooms

¨    4 x Guest staterooms below deck, 2 with queen berths, 2 with twin berths, all with en suites with showers

¨    4/5 x Crew cabins with en suites for up to 9 crew members

    MASTER STATEROOM

The full beam on-deck master suite is designed with elegance and comfort in mind. At the entrance on starboard side is a built-in desk and bookshelf/office area with a (2) Subzero drawer refreshment center. As you walk into the master stateroom the king size bed is set in the center of the room with a couch starboard side and vanity to port. A full entertainment system is hidden in cabinetry on the aft bulkhead. There is a large cedar-lined walk-in closet with plenty of storage and drawers. Forward of the bed are his and her bathrooms, his with a shower with two shower heads and a steamer, hers with a whirlpool tub. There is a fog mirror between his and her baths for privacy.

    GUEST STATEROOMS

From the lower deck foyer there is access to four large guest staterooms. The two aft staterooms feature queen size beds. The forward two staterooms have twin beds that can be converted on a custom track system to create a king bed in each. Each en suite guest bathroom has luxurious oversized showers with recessed rain heads. The foyer also has a refreshment center with Subzero refrigerator and icemaker.

    CREW QUARTERS

The crew lounge with leather seating and large table to accommodate 9 crew is to port with refrigerator/freezer, microwave and 52' Samsung TV, DVD, CD, Kaleidescape access point and radio.

There are 3 double crew cabins with en suites forward and another off the aft lazarette. All the way forward to port is an upper and lower berth cabin with bathroom opposite to starboard. Aft on the starboard side opposite the portside laundry is another upper and lower crew cabin with en suite bathroom. The crew mess is to port and opposite to starboard is another crew cabin with athwartship upper and lower berths, desk and en suite bathroom. The engineer’s cabin is aft to port with upper and lower berths and en suite bathroom. The captain’s cabin is behind the bridge if CALLIOPE is used as a 5 stateroom yacht.

    WALKTHROUGH

    AFT DECK

Boarding CALLIOPE has been made easy by the 20’ Bezenzoni electric/hydraulic passarelle or the custom-built tide ride ladder either midship or via the aft deck. The main aft deck has plenty of seating area at the teak table and the wrap around bar, providing a good place to view the drop down 32” HD TV.

    MAIN SALON

You enter the salon from the aft deck, through an automatic sliding door. The seating arrangement includes two sofas and an ottoman. The entertainment center that separates the salon from the formal dining includes a fixed Samsung 58" plasma TV, Kaleidescape media server, Denon tuner/amplifier, DVD player, and Direct TV HD satellite receiver.

    DINING AREA

Midship is the mahogany dining table with insets capable of seating 10 guests, complimented by superb Pomelle Sapele woodwork and custom buffet for storage for china, crystal and stemware. Throughout both the salon and dining area crown molding accentuates the other woodwork and moldings in the ceiling. A chandelier hangs over the dining table.

    GALLEY AND LAUNDRY

The entrance to the galley through an electric door is to port from the dining area. As you enter the butler’s pantry, there is a commercial ice maker and Subzero drinks fridge. All appliances in the galley are Subzero stainless steel units including (2) large side by side refrigerators, icemaker, dishwashers, (2) drawer freezer, GE induction cook top and Dacor double ovens with warmer. A beige granite floor highlights the silver cabinets and the granite counter tops. There is an entertainment system with TV, DVD, CD and radio. The pantry provides plenty of storage for dry goods. An island is conveniently located in the center of the galley with storage for all kitchen appliances. Portside in the galley there is a settee that accommodates 5 for relaxed dining around a small table under a large window.

A custom-built Subzero wine cooler is located outside the galley in the main foyer across from the on-deck day head.

In the laundry forward below to port are 2 x full size Miele commercial grade washing machines and two dryers.

    UPPER DECK

Up from the main deck is the skylounge foyer with access to another day head, pilothouse, Captain’s cabin or VIP stateroom and sky lounge area.

Aft of the wheelhouse is the skylounge with granite topped bar with storage, game table, lounge area with two custom sofas, custom chair and ottoman, end table and a cocktail table. The entertainment center includes Samsung 58” plasma TV, Kaleidescape media server, Denon receiver amplifier, DVD, CD, PlayStation (Blue Ray DVD), and Xbox.

    PILOTHOUSE

The pilothouse has a leather settee, teak topped table, navigation work desk, chart flat and drawers, a Stidd Captain’s chair and plenty of storage. Aft is the Captain’s desk and GMDSS station.

    BRIDGE DECK AFT

The bridge deck aft has a round teak table with a starburst motif that is duplicated in both the ceiling and teak deck. A wet bar, and a 50” pop out Samsung TV with surround sound are also located on this deck. There are four teak lounge chairs with ottomans and cocktail tables.

    FLYBRIDGE/SUNDECK

The sundeck has a full moon shaped bar that wraps around the whirlpool with refrigerator and bar stools adjacent. The large heated 60 jet whirlpool, accommodating 8 people, is built under the arch section with a fiberglass sunroof above. There is also an air-conditioned day head on the sundeck. There is a 2,500 lb. Steelhead telescopic davit for launching the tenders and toys all stored aft.

    SWIM PLATFORM

On the swim platform there is access to the lazarette storage area with dive compressor and dive tank storage. There is a plethora of inflatable and towable toys stored onboard, including Seabobs, flyboards, jetpacks, tubes, trampolines, wakeboards and waterskis, as well as dive gear.
