Founded in 1863 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin as H. Burger Shipyard, Henry Burger’s initial aim was to construct 20- to 30-foot Mackinaw fishing vessels. That same year, the yard demonstrated its versatility with the launch of the 46-meter retro superyacht Sycara IV, designed by Ken Freivokh. The largest Burger superyacht to date is the 46.6-meter Ingot, which won the “Art de Vivre La Belle Classe Moët & Chandon” award at the 2010 Monaco Rendezvous.
