If you are a hands on type of boater, this Carver might be the boat for you.

Description

This boat sunk during 2024 Ice Storm in Portland, Oregon. Lost power, strainers cracked and it went to the bottom. It is on it's way to being restored, this is a list of what has been done. The gen will most likely have to be rebuilt. At least the electrical side. The engines will need someone to finish up the process of getting them going. They were serviced, all fluids changed. Here are some additional details. The good news is the boat had no power when it sank so there was no electrical arcing, shorts or other. The reason the boat sank is due to a power surge on the island during the storm. The shore power breaker tripped at the marina dock, The inverter ran out of juice and the onboard heating system failed and the thru hulls froze. Electrical panels all cleaned and in good shape (should see them on the photos, if not I have more), replacing most everything that was ac voltage and the 12 volt items either cleaned or replaced as well. Needs batteries, transformer, some wiring and then ready to plug in. Boat has been with heaters since and it overall cleaned up extremely well and dried out. Would be a great Airbnb?
