She has largely sailed the Chesapeake Bay, so has seen relatively light use. The last of the ‘old school’ Beneteaus with cherry interior and a traditional interior feel to it, the 473 is renowned for its sailing ability and sea-kindliness and superb ‘liveability’. The interior is spacious and light; the cockpit is extremely comfortable and easy to move around; twin wheels and walk-through transom to swim platform create easy access to the water, for the family to play when at anchor.
