Twin Crusader 330hp (or equivalent) inboard engines deliver strong performance with excellent economy for its era, while the shallow propeller tunnels provide better efficiency and reduced draft — ideal for exploring shallower waters without compromise.

Mechanical Systems

The spacious engine room is amidships, under the salon sole. Twin 320 HP Crusaders sound fantastic and cruise her at 16 knots and top out at 21 knots.  The engines start and run smoothly. The attentive owner has continuously maintained the boat in excellent condition.

The Kohler 7.5 kw generator is aft, under the cockpit sole, housed in a sound shield. It starts right up and runs smoothly.

The anchor windlass works smoothly and there are foot controls as well as helm controls.

Recent mechanical service items include:

·      New fuel filters

·      Oil & filter changes for all three units

·      Both engines have had new water pumps & heat exchangers serviced

·      Port engine: high pressure fuel pump

·      Several new hoses & clamps as necessary

Other recent improvements include rebuild of the toilet vacuum system and replacement of the shower sump.
