Description
This pilothouse cutter is truly one of a kind. Designed by Mark Treworgy and built by Treworgy Boat Building in NE Florida, with steel construction to ensure that she was tough and strong. Awlgrip Arista Blue hull.
Not only is she rugged, but she will turn heads. Her pilothouse is offset by a graceful hull design, and the low profile makes her look anything but "boxy" (as some pilothouse boats tend to do). Her owner has sailed both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans aboard her, and she now sits in St. Augustine, FL, awaiting her next adventure.
Her hull was plated of 3/16" and bottom of keel with 1/2" steel with substantial framing, with 3000 lbs. of lead ballast (cast to shape and anchored). Her cabin is aluminum (isolated from the steel). Mark Treworgy designed her to be rugged and strong, yet comfortable inside. She can be steered from inside the pilothouse or from the cockpit, her galley is sizeable, and v-berth functions as a double berth or twin singles. Interior joinery and craftsmanship is superb.

Accommodations
The pilothouse design ensures that there is a nice, open living space, complete with opening windows and storm shutters. The interior is finished in mahogany, and to stbd. as you enter there is a chart table with a stool and then the helm station, which is quite large. To port is a sea berth. The engine is located under the pilothouse. As you step down into the salon, the large galley is to your right and the refrigerator (also very large) to your left. The galley has a large stainless sink and plenty of counter space.
A folding table sits along the centerline, and settees line either side. Be sure to look at the photos of the leecloths. This boat is made for offshore adventures!
The head with shower is sizeable and sits to stbd, and to port, forward of the salon, is a walkway with a hanging locker and sizeable drawers for storage. The v-berth is large, and a finely crafted insert can be placed in the middle to create a double bed or stowed easily on the cabin sole (see the photos!) to preserve the traditional v-berth.
The interior of this boat is warm and cozy, and speaks clearly to the desire we all have to sit together around the salon table under the glow of a lamp and tell stories after a long voyage.
You will be proud of this boat.
