Wendy Meade Willersinn
Wendy Meade Willersinn co-founded YachtSalesInternational.com with Udo in 2014, bringing a background that is unusual in yacht brokerage: she is a trained Computer Engineer who spent the earlier part of her career as a programmer, consultant, and Director of IT for a global pharmaceutical research company.
That background shapes everything about how YSI operates. Wendy built the company's technology infrastructure — CRM systems, listing integrations, marketing automation, and the new website — from the ground up. YSI controls its own data and technology stack at a level that most independent brokerages don't. That's her doing.
Wendy grew up on the lakes of southwest Virginia and has been on the water her entire life — diving, water sports, and cruising. She and Udo live aboard full time, which means her recommendations about what liveaboard life actually requires come from genuine daily experience, not a sales pitch.
She holds a Florida Yacht & Boat Broker license, is an active IYBA member, and manages YSI's operations, marketing, and financial oversight.
