Justin Onofrietti grew up in upstate New York, but it didn’t take long before the ocean called. After serving aboard U.S. Coast Guard cutters, he found his way into the world of mega yachts—and never looked back. What started in the engine room quickly led to project builds, captaining yachts around the globe, and eventually becoming a trusted yacht broker.
With over 25 years in the industry, Justin has seen yachting from every angle: from engineering and new construction to chartering, sales, and full-service yacht management. He became a licensed broker in 2003, shifted fully into sales in 2005, and as a partner helped shape the Monte Carlo Yachts brand in the U.S. through his time at Denison.
Today, Justin leads Yachting Select, a boutique firm built around one idea: that buying, building, or chartering a yacht should feel personal—not transactional. With a deep understanding of how yachts are built, used, and lived in, Justin helps clients make smart decisions that truly fit their needs. No push, no pressure—just honest guidance from someone who’s been there, done it, and loves every minute of yachting.
