Michael Mahan has worked within the yachting industry for more than 30 years, starting with running yachts throughout the East Coast of the United States, Caribbean and Mediterranean. As President of Wayfarer Marine for 12 years, Michael grew the company into one of New England’s most reputable yachting centers and refit facilities. He transitioned into the brokerage industry in 1997, achieving success in selling larger motor yachts (45 meters to 70 meters), as well as project managing the build of several mega yachts. After many years of working at other yacht brokerages, Michael and his business partner Brian Tansey created a completely new yacht brokerage business model launching Worth Avenue Yachts in 2011.
