Prior to joining Veteran Yacht Sales, Rune built his career in private aviation sales, where he advised clients navigating the complex landscape of private air travel. In that role, he partnered closely with business leaders and high-net-worth individuals to source tailored aircraft solutions, gaining extensive experience managing high-value decisions that require discretion, attention to detail, and personalized service. Rune continues to advise clients in private aviation while expanding his work in yacht brokerage, offering clients a broader perspective across luxury travel and lifestyle investments.
Originally from Ludington, Michigan, Rune maintains a strong connection to the western shoreline of Northern Michigan and the communities that shape the Great Lakes boating culture. Growing up along the water instilled a lasting appreciation for the lifestyle that boating creates, one centered around family, time outdoors, and the freedom to explore.
