Geoffrey Brackman serves as a Yacht Broker & Advisor with Veteran Yacht Sales, bringing a practical, owner-informed perspective shaped by both executive leadership and real-world cruising experience. Based in Annapolis, Geoffrey supports buyers and sellers with a steady, advisory-focused approach designed to simplify complex yacht transactions.
Prior to entering the yachting industry, Geoffrey spent over two decades in the automotive sector, including eight years as Owner and Operator of a Chevrolet dealership in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. His background in high-value asset management, negotiation, and client advisory translates directly into the yacht brokerage process where clarity, trust, and execution matter.
Geoffrey’s transition to yachting was grounded in firsthand experience. After acquiring a 2021 Lagoon 50, Lucero, he led his family on a 2,400-nautical-mile passage from Puerto Rico to Annapolis, followed by extended cruising throughout the Bahamas. This hands-on experience navigating offshore passages and managing complex onboard systems allows Geoffrey to advise clients with an “owner’s eye” that goes well beyond specifications.
He originally connected with Veteran Yacht Sales as a client at the Annapolis Boat Show, and that relationship evolved into a professional alignment with the firm’s advisory-first philosophy.
Geoffrey enjoys working with buyers at all stages from first-time owners to those planning extended cruising or multi-hull ownership helping them align their goals with the realities of ownership and time on the water. When he’s not at the docks in Annapolis, he’s spending time with his family or planning the next voyage.
