Steve Allen
Boating has been a lifelong passion of mine. I grew up in the St Petersburg, Florida area and got my first boat at the age of 14. I have owned boats continuously since that time and currently have a 45 ft Hatteras that I have owned for over 20 years. In 1984 I earned my US Coast Guard Captains License and currently hold a 100 ton endorsement. I have owned and operated a part t ime charter business for the past 25 years. After retiring from a 35 year career in law enforcement in 2009, I decided to further pursue my passion for boating and continued to run my part time charter business along with taking various Captain jobs. These included captaining a 125 passenger excursion vessel, delivering vessels and providing vessel handling instruction. In 2011 obtained my yacht brokerage license and began my career in yacht brokerage. I became a member of the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA) and in 2016 I earned my Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB) certification. Only about 10% of brokers worldwide hold this certification. Since beginning my yacht brokerage career, I have sold vessels of all types and sizes up to 80 feet. I enjoy sharing my boating passion with my clients and assisting them in all aspects of boat ownership. I pride myself on developing lasting relationships with my clients and representing them in the purchase and sale of their vessels.
