"Oguz Ertekin, also goes by Oz, started sailing at the historic Boston Community Boating foundation, racing on the picturesque Charles River and cruising around Boston Harbor. What started as a hobby later turned into a lifelong passion for cruising distant waters. Electrical engineer and MBA by education, Oguz now holds USCG Captain and Florida Yacht Broker licenses. With his wife and little goldendoodle, Leeloo, he has cruised up and down the East Coast, the Gulf Coast of Florida, the Keys and the Bahamas on his Beneteau Oceanis 41.1, and is in the process of acquiring a Jeanneau Yacht 53 in Greece to sail the Mediterranean."
