Northrop & Johnson Yacht Broker Todd Rittenhouse was born and raised in Southern California. Living on the water, he was quickly introduced to the boating lifestyle and learned to sail during trips to Catalina. Todd spent his teenage years working as a deckhand on board both power and sailing boats. His experience ranges from charters to deliveries throughout the Southern California area.

Todd pursued his Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Transportation at the California Maritime Academy; he also holds a USCG unlimited tonnage license. After graduating, Todd used both his license and degree while working as the navigation officer on dynamically positioned drill ships, ocean-going and harbor tugs and tankers.

Todd moved ashore and joined the land-based boating industry as a broker at Ardell Yacht & Ship Brokers, where he worked for 10 years. Now a member of Northrop & Johnson’s Newport Beach team, Todd utilizes his vast maritime experience and knowledge to help fulfill all of his clients’ yachting needs.
