Joseph Crook
In the mid-1980s Joe began his "Yacht Sales" career working with the second oldest Hatteras dealer in the U.S., Wilkins Yacht Sales. While there he sold new Hatteras, Topaz, Sea Ray, Chris Craft, Egg Harbor, and brokerage. He also sold and shipped several Hatteras and Egg Harbor boats to Europe, and the Middle East while at Wilkins. In 1990 Joe was in the "top 10" of Hatteras salesmen worldwide.
In the spring of 1994, Joe went to work with Bluewater Yacht Sales when Bluewater opened their second sales office in Annapolis Maryland. At that time, Joe was selling both new Hatteras and Viking Yachts, along with brokerage. He fished the Ocean City White Marlin Tournament every August onboard either the Hatteras Yachts factory demo boat "Hatterascal", or the new Viking Yachts demo boat. Joe also sold and delivered a new Hatteras 74' Sport Deck MY, which at that time was the largest Hatteras Yacht that Bluewater Yacht Sales had ever delivered!
In 1999 Joe joined forces with Shady Oaks Yacht Sales, the highest volume large power boat dealer on the Chesapeake Bay. He quickly became a member of the "Million Dollar Club" for Carver Yachts. In 2004 he was the #2 Salesman for Silverton Yachts in the U.S. In 2005 he was the #1 Salesman for Silverton Yachts in the U.S., and awarded the title of "2005 Salesman of the Year".
In 2006, Joe became the Mid-Atlantic Sales Manager for Midnight Express Power Boats. Since then he has sold and delivered Midnight Express boats to many upper-end buyers. Most noteworthy, the one of kind 5 Mercury engine "Miami Show Boat", which was sold to one of Joe's prominent clients in Dubai, another boat for a "World Famous Illusionist", as well as several boats for "large yacht" owners. Joe will maintain his association with Midnight Express on a limited basis.
Joe was recently in Dubai for nine days while attending the Dubai International Boat Show. During his many years in the business, he has worked all the major boat shows, including Ft. Lauderdale and Miami.
Now Joe will be working with Luke Brown Yachts "Fort Myers" office, and he welcomes the opportunity to be associated with one of the oldest and most well-respected yacht brokerages
