Brett Mumy
Brett Mumy has built his career on long-term relationships and helping clients experience the freedom and adventure that life on the water provides. Raised on Gull Lake in Michigan, he grew up immersed in boating and water sports, starting with his first boat—a 12-foot aluminum V-bottom powered by a full-metal Evinrude.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Sales and Business Management from Western Michigan University, Brett began his boating career at Gull Lake Marina, where he consistently led the sales team and delivered more than 120 boats in his final year.
With over 15 years in the marine industry, Brett specializes in high-end brokerage and new yacht sales, working with power yachts from 40 to over 100 feet. He has guided clients through numerous brokerage and custom-build projects and was recognized as Top Salesman for eight consecutive years among a national team of more than 70 brokers.
Brett serves clients throughout the Great Lakes while expanding the firm’s presence in Southwest Florida, operating out of Holland and Bay Harbor, Michigan, as well as Naples, Florida.
He holds a Florida Yacht Broker License and is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB) and member of the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA). Brett lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan with his wife and three children and spends summers cruising Northern Michigan.
