Growing up on the water throughout, Florida, Jacob Hodskins developed a passion for boating long before entering the yacht industry professionally. From fishing and surfing to operating a wide variety of vessels along the Gulf Coast, boating has always been more than a career path. It’s a lifestyle he has lived firsthand from an early age.
Today, Jacob works with clients across Galati Yacht Sales’ premium brand portfolio including Viking, Valhalla, Princess, Absolute, Prestige, and MJM, while also helping buyers and sellers navigate brokerage opportunities throughout the broader market. In addition to hands-on boating experience, Jacob brings a strong understanding of boat construction, onboard systems, and the evolving technology found aboard today’s boats and yachts.

He closely follows and compares offerings across many of the world’s leading boat and yacht builders spanning nearly every segment of the market, from brands like Grand Banks and Marlow in the trawler space, to Sunseeker and Pershing in the luxury performance market, Everglades and Freeman in center consoles, and Spencer and other customs in the sportfishing world. He believes that understanding the full marketplace allows him to better educate and guide his clients toward the right fit for their lifestyle and long-term ownership goals.
