Dan Kimball
Raised on the shores of West Michigan, Dan is an avid boater and has been in the boat business since the age of 16. Upon graduation from college, Dan signed on as a crew member to help deliver a 75ft Hatteras motoryacht from Northern Michigan to Florida. When he returned from the trip, he typed the word “boat” into an internet job search engine and wound up moving to South Carolina to work for Beneteau USA. After nearly five years of traveling the country setting up boat shows, attending owner rendezvous and regattas, Dan returned home to Michigan. He previously served as the general manager of a yacht club for eight years in Harbor Springs and has been selling boats since 2019. Dan is honored to be a part of the Down East Yachting team and excited by the opportunity to represent Sabre and Back Cove Yachts. When he’s not at work you’ll likely find him on the water with his wife Stephanie and their son Travis, or passionately attending one of Travis’ many sporting events.
