Christian Wierda
Christian “Chip” Wierda adds a second generation to the Down East Yachting family as the son of Craig and Emilie Wierda. Since joining his family on his first yearlong boat trip at the age of five, Christian has logged countless days aboard boats, having navigated The Great Loop and traveled from Alaska to Florida via the Panama Canal. Christian spent a semester in college aboard the MV Explorer, visiting thirteen countries in Southeast Asia and Africa, and spent several weeks in the Caribbean aboard an 88-foot schooner. Experience with vessels of all types informs the service he provides customers. Christian recently graduated from Hope College and is excited to help customers find their ideal vessel.
