A decade later, Bill Healey, Viking’s co-founder, and his grandson Sean Healey revived the project, beginning the search for a production facility in New Jersey. Despite difficulties in finding a location, the vision for a smaller, high-quality boat persisted, thanks to the Healey family’s dedication.

In 2018, during the Miami Boat Show, the Viking team connected with yacht designer Michael Peters, whose patented double-stepped hull design aligned perfectly with their vision for a high-performance center console. Having already collaborated with Peters on motor yachts, the partnership made perfect sense. The timing was right, and Valhalla Boatworks was born.
