    Introduction

    DREADNOUGHT is one of the finest Vicem motoryachts ever built. She was constructed with an emphasis on tasteful features right down to the smallest of details. DREADNOUGHT boasts reliable Yanmar engines for exceptional fuel economy during extended cruising and a well laid out three stateroom configuration. The knowledgeable owner worked at great lengths to build the perfect cruising platform, and it shows in every way.     INTERIOR:

    • The large beam provides spacious accommodations, including a comfortable pilothouse area, open galley, dining settee area, aft cabin with twin bunks, second guest cabin with drop down spare bunk above the queen bunk, a head with separate doors from the guest staterooms and luxurious Primary Suite with centerline queen bunk and a large head

    • There is ample storage for extended cruising in a large lazarette below aft cockpit, under the companionway stairs and throughout the vessel. 

    • The interior is finished in satin varnished mahogany with a gloss varnished Teak and Tulipwood cabin sole and a sound absorbent overhead.


    EXTERIOR:

    • DREADNOUGHT features recent Flag Blue Awlgrip hull paint as well as recent Cream colored Awlgrip paint on the pilothouse/ cabin top. Cream Awlgrip Double Boot Stripe, and a blue bottom

    • The varnished teak toe rail, the varnished teak cockpit coaming caps, and the eyebrows accentuate the beautiful profile of the boat. In the cockpit the amenities (grill, refrigerator, icemaker and sink) are accented with gloss-varnished teak work surfaces and louvered doors

    • Her optional teak cockpit, side decks, forward decking and hydraulic swim platform teak decking are all in keeping with traditional yacht styling and luxurious finishes throughout the vessel

    • The expansive hydraulic swim platform can accommodate a large tender with ease and is simple to operate

    • The deep cockpit with molded “L” shaped settee to port and starboard has a walk-through transom door with steps down to the swim platform

    • A SailShade styled aft cockpit sunshade is easily deployed with custom stainless-steel poles for aft corners of the cockpit 

    • An optional custom teak folding dining table accentuates the aft cockpit

    • large door opens to the starboard side deck direct from the helm for ease in docking


    Hull and Deck

    • Recent Flag Blue Awlgrip hull paint as well as a Cream gelcoat pilot house cabin top and deck

    • Single, double-wide White Awlgrip bootstripe

    • Blue bottom paint

    • Thru-hull fittings with ball valve seacocks are below the waterline and above the waterline where appropriate. Bronze seacocks, thru-hull fittings and sea strainers on propulsion engines.

    • Teak rub rail has stainless-steel half-round on fiberglass molding.

    • Hydraulically operated extra-wide teak swim platform for swimming or tender deployment 


    Deck Features:

    • Bow Rail: 1-1/4” Type 316L stainless-steel tubing

    • Recent Cream Awlgrip on smooth surfaces (vertical surfaces of deck, house, waterways, and pilothouse top )  

    • Varnished teak toe rails 

    • Varnished teak molded eyebrow molding around cabin top

    • Anchor Locker in the foredeck, with hinged and gas-spring assisted hatch. Custom stainless-steel anchor roller with stainless-steel anchor. Lofrans windlass with foredeck control as well as control at helm station makes anchoring simple

    • Fresh and saltwater wash down spigots forward

    • Mooring Cleats: (8) 316 stainless-steel bow, stern and spring line cleats. Bow and stern cleats are 12” and spring line cleats are 10”

    • Overboard direct drainage scuppers for cockpit

    • One ensign, stern mounted 5’ varnished teak staff with flush socket accompanied by flag

    • Custom folding Vicem mast painted to match house

    Cockpit

    Entry to the boat is either from the side coaming to a step or through the transom door to the swim platform.

    • Molded fiberglass teak topped boarding step is inboard of port coaming

    • Custom stainless boarding stairs with handrail - can be used as stairs either port or starboard


    Features include:

    • Starboard amenity with sink, ice maker, refrigerator and grill 

    • Easy deployment of sunshade

    • Custom folding teak dining table opens to accommodate guests. The table is inlaid with a wood compass rose

    • Varnished teak-covered cockpit coamings and caps

    • Shower with hot/cold mixing valve near transom door/ swim platform

    • Glendinning powered shore cord reel exits transom through a flush hatch 

    • Large aft lazarette hatch in cockpit deck with ladder down to a large lazarette and engine room. There is ample room for the storage of lines, fenders, and ancillary gear. Also in lazarette is the washer/dryer, spare propellers, batteries, battery chargers, charger/ inverter, air conditioning systems, spare parts, hot water heater, hydraulic steering system and more

    • Forward of the lazarette is a door leading into the engine room 

    • Molded fiberglass “L” settee to port and starboard as well as a corner settee to port under the roof overhang

    • Storage is provided in the cockpit by lockers molded into the port and starboard seating areas with fiberglass lids


    Pilothouse

    Large pilothouse side windows, forward windshields, starboard helm door and aft doors provide excellent light and visibility. Entry to the pilothouse from the cockpit is through varnished teak/glass doors. 


    Pilothouse layout includes:

    • Forward: Helm area is to starboard; to port is a chart table

    • Aft in the salon area are two custom swivel, barrel chairs with a large built-in mahogany amenity between the chairs on the starboard side. A long settee is to port with built-in mahogany amenity aft of settee

    • All surfaces in the pilothouse are clad in mahogany with a satin varnish

    • TV on a lift behind large starboard amenity

    • Aft draw curtains as well as side curtains to cover doors and windows


    Pilothouse is finished with:

    • Satin-varnished mahogany, including dash and chart table area

    • Gloss varnished teak and tulipwood pilothouse sole with custom removable carpet

    • Three forward fixed windows with windshield wipers & washers

    • Front windows have port and starboard Stamoid sun covers

    • Beadboard overheads in Herreshoff White with teak battens and teak handrails

    • Overhead lighting provides lighting on dimmer circuits. The helm station has an optional red or white nighttime running/chart light

    GALLEY (Port):

    This mahogany-clad area is open to the pilothouse and receives lots of natural light and ventilation. It has an opening portlight over the counter and ample counter space for ease of cooking. The forward galley counter opens into the dining area.

    GUEST STATEROOM ONE:

    The guest suite (to starboard of galley) is entered through a single-panel door. The guest/day head can be entered from the central passageway or the guest suite.

    • A comfortable twin bunk layout with ample storage can be converted to king bed

    • Large hanging locker forward of the starboard bunk

    GUEST STATEROOM TWO:

    Forward of the day/guest head is the second guest stateroom. This stateroom has a queen bunk and a fold down single bunk above on the inboard bulkhead.

    The Primary Suite is luxurious and very well-appointed. It includes a private head with a separate stall shower. The Primary stateroom is entered through a solid mahogany door. A centerline queen bunk has storage drawers below and storage beneath the mattress. The bunk has steps on each side for ease of entering. Above the bunk is a sky hatch in the gloss white beadboard overhead. Aft and outboard of the bunk are large hanging lockers and large amenities with more drawer space. Outboard of the bunk above the stunning mahogany battens contains more storage lockers and shelving.
