From the beginning, our goal with Limax II was to create a yacht we could trust completely. Having owned and sailed many yachts over the years, we approached this boat with clear priorities shaped by experience: genuine offshore capability, systems we could rely on, and a platform that also works beautifully for safe, comfortable family cruising. We wanted a yacht that could cross oceans with confidence, yet remain easy to live aboard and genuinely relaxing to sail.

We invested significant time and care—more than six months of focused preparation—to thoughtfully outfit the yacht for Atlantic crossings and long-range cruising. Every upgrade was selected based on real-world use and past lessons learned: sail handling, redundancy, energy independence, safety systems, and offshore reliability. The result is a Jeanneau 65 that feels settled, proven, and ready, rather than a factory-spec yacht still needing refinement.

Alongside her offshore capability, Limax II has been an exceptional family yacht. She is quiet, comfortable, and reassuring underway, with excellent protection, effective climate control, and a layout that works extremely well for extended time aboard with children. Whether on longer passages or relaxed island cruising, she has consistently proven to be both capable and enjoyable to live on.

We have taken great pride in caring for the yacht, and she is kept as close as possible to immaculate condition, both mechanically and cosmetically, reflecting thoughtful ownership and professional oversight throughout.

Limax II has been privately owned and professionally operated, with a dedicated captain responsible for day-to-day care, preventative maintenance, and system oversight. This professional management ensured that all systems were operated correctly, maintained on schedule, and monitored continuously.

The yacht has been used exactly as intended: long-range cruising, ocean passages, and some short cruises for family sailing.
