Description
A Proven Ocean Cruiser - Sail in Style and Comfort - Never Chartered and Privately Owned
BLUR is a second-owner, privately used 2013 Bavaria Vision 46 outfitted for comfortable extended cruising, safe offshore passagemaking, and relaxed Caribbean living. Designed by Bruce Farr of Farr Yacht Design and built by Bavaria Yachts, the Vision 46 blends performance sailing, bluewater capability, and a bright, modern three-cabin, two-head interior.
The current owner took possession of BLUR in Grenada and enjoyed a season of Caribbean cruising. A new opportunity now makes the yacht available to her next owner.
The Vision 46 is known for its clever offset companionway and expansive cockpit arrangement. The large port cockpit table can be lowered manually to create a daybed or lounging area, while twin helms provide good visibility and comfortable steering positions. The Side-Power bow thruster, centralized winch arrangement, and lines led aft make BLUR well suited for short-handed sailing.
Below, the Vision 46 feels notably open and inviting, with fixed hull ports, overhead hatches, generous natural light, and a smart interior plan. The asymmetrical companionway creates an excellent galley/pantry area, while the saloon offers a flexible portside navigation table that converts into a continuous bench. Combined with new 2025 standing rigging, black Crusader sails, solar charging, Hydrovane self-steering, and Garmin electronics, BLUR is a compelling cruising package that is ready for her next adventure.
Ideal usage includes bluewater offshore passages, extended liveaboard cruising, weekend and coastal sailing, and short-handed or couple cruising with the benefit of bow thruster, electric winch, Hydrovane self-steering, solar charging, and a practical three-cabin layout.

Broker Comments
Having spent time around a wide range of cruising sailboats, I find the Bavaria Vision 46 to be one of those yachts that immediately feels right the moment you step aboard. She was clearly designed with real owners in mind: easy to handle short-handed, exceptionally comfortable at anchor or underway, and filled with the natural light, storage, and intelligent layout that make extended time aboard genuinely enjoyable.
For sailors looking for a yacht that blends offshore capability with modern liveaboard comfort, BLUR is a very well-thought-out package. Her new standing rigging, black Crusader sails, Hydrovane self-steering, solar array, Garmin electronics, bow thruster, and private-use history make her a compelling option for a cruising couple or family looking to step aboard and go.
