“WonderWind”
This gorgeous Island Packet 45 is in excellent condition, having been meticulously maintained throughout her life with her two owners. She was purchased new in 1999 by her first owners up in Newport, Rhode Island, where she cruised New England throughout the summer. During winter months she was carefully stored and wrapped safely on the hard to protect her from the elements. While mainly a New England yacht, her original owners did take her to the Bahamas and back several times as well. Her second owners purchased her in 2019, and since then have cruised with her throughout the East Coast and Bahamas. During this time, they have lovingly cared for her with an extensive list of upgrades and excellent preventative and cosmetic maintenance.
Walkthrough
Above decks, she has plenty of space for lounging, relaxing during overnighters, and enjoying sundowners in her spacious cockpit.
Coming down the companionway, the large and practical galley to starboard has plenty of counter space and storage. Forward of the galley sits a comfortable chart table serving as a navigation center, home office, and more.
The salon is spacious, comfortable, and inviting-with ocean blue cushions on the settees and a foldout dining table large enough accommodate family and friends. Island Packets have beautiful woodwork and accents throughout their interiors, and “WonderWind’s” interior truly seems to shine like new!
To port, her aft stateroom has plenty of light and storage space. The aft head and shower are accessible through the stateroom as well as the main salon area.
Her forward stateroom has a comfortable double bed and plenty of room to relax after a day of adventure. The ensuite forward head is airy and well ventilated, with a luxuriously spacious shower area.
