Layout and Accommodations
Chain locker forward with chain stowage for two anchors; Satin finished cherry bulkheads and a huge V-berth with a large amountof drawer storage under. 8 large drawers with cherry faces are built in aft of the berth on the port side and 3 drawers with a largehanging locker are aft on the starboard. Two side port lights with a large Bomar hatch overhead allow exceptional natural light andair. In addition, there are two bunk reading lamps and two overhead lights. The deck sole is varnished cherry.
Aft to port is a berth over a convertible settee and cabinetry containing a Blaupunkt cassette/8 CD changer with speakersthroughout the vessel. A Sony television, is also located here, with VCR on a moveable base to allow viewing from anywhere in thesalon. Under this cabinet are two very large storage drawers. Further aft is a very large head with separate oversized shower withseat, and more than ample storage. The head system is Vacuflush. The shower and head have custom cabinetry and whitecomposite bulkheads trimmed in teak with a satin finish. The countertops are Corian, the sink is polished stainless and the fixturesare FM Mattson. There is a port light and overhead lighting as well.
On the starboard side of the salon, there is a matching berth and settee bulkhead and overhead lighting. Bulkhead fans andstorage under the convertible settee.
Aft of this is the galley. There is a large amount of storage in a series of sliding lockers. The lockers contain a Panasonicmicrowave oven and a very efficient dish and glass racking system. Below the cabinetry is a very large Corian counter/prep areathat houses a large double polished stainless sink with FM Mattson retractable faucetry, a huge Glacier Bay refrigerator, a GlacierBay freezer and Force 10 marine propane 3 burner stove with sea rails and oven. There are 4 drawers for the galley utensils and ahuge under sink storage locker. There is also a Xintex X2A propane detector sensor with alarm.
All the bunks in the salon area a tastefully covered in a suede vinyl. The salon sole is varnished cherry. There are four natural airdeck funnels and a reverse cycle A/C.
The electrical panel is on the aft bulkhead on the starboard side just before entering the bridge deck. There are four teak treadsand varnished mahogany doors. In the stair area are the tank tender gauges and a manual bilge pump panel and generator panel.
The bridge deck is brightly varnished Honduras Mahogany with exquisite joinery with beautiful grain. There is a large chart tablewith a custom helm seat of mahogany with cushions to port and an L-shaped settee just aft with good storage under.
On the starboard side is the helm console of mahogany with a 6" Ritchie power damp compass, a FURUNO FCV 667 color videosounder, Robertson A20 autopilot, a Northstar 6000 DGPS charts system and a Furuno 48 mile radar. The Volvo single leverelectronic controls, Bennett trim tabs, engine gauges and windshield wiper panel is below near the steering wheel. Aft of thecustom helm seat is another long settee with storage under. All of the settees have Sunbrella cushions. 2 Bomar overhead hatchesprovide ventilation.
Further aft is the cockpit where the steadying sail mast is mounted which hinges aft to allow for low controlling bridge height. Thecockpit sole is non skid with access hatches. There is a large ice cooler and much storage built in.
