42' Grand Banks Vessel Walkthrough
From the teak swimplatform, you step through the transom gate onto the aftdeck and walk forward on either same-level side deck. Walk forward on the port side deck and you can step up onto the trunk cabin and then up to the flybridge or walk forward to the salon access door. Once inside the salon, you will find the galley port forward, guest stateroom with ensuite head forward, lower helm and side deck access door starboard forward, glass storage and icemaker cabinet to starboard, L-shaped seating with storage, folding teak table and 2 stools starboard aft, benchseat with storage and entertainment/storage cabinetry port aft and the full-beam master stateroom with queen size centerline berth and a separate head and shower aft. Engine room access is via salon sole hatches. The entire interior headliner was replaced in 2021.
The headroom in the salon is 6'6", 6'7" on the flybridge, 6'7" in the guest stateroom, 6'3" in the guest stateroom head, 6'3" in the master stateroom and 6' in the master stateroom shower. The master stateroom berth is 6'5" long and the guest stateroom berths are 6'7" long.
The height form the waterline to the top of the flybridge bimini is 15'2" and 13'1" to the top of the flybridge windscreen.
42' Grand Banks Accommodations
GloriaUs offers a full-beam master stateroom aft with a centerline queen size berth and a separate head and shower; and a guest stateroom forward with a v-berth and an ensuite head.
42' Grand Banks Salon
The salon offers a side deck access door on each side, a glass storage cabinet and icemaker (2025) to starboard, L-shaped seating with storage, folding teak table and 2 stools starboard aft, TV and a benchseat with storage port aft, lounge chair, teak parquet sole, opening side and aft windows with screens and shades (2023), opening center windshield, reading light, fans and engine room access. The seating cushions were replaced in 2023.

The lower helm is starboard forward in the salon and offers a side deck access door, opening middle windshield, stabilizer controls, searchlight control, alarm panel, engine controls, bowthruster control, trim tabs controls, VDO gauges and electronics as detailed in the electronics section in this presentation.
