Description
2004 Beneteau 393 "Rarebird"
This two owner Beneteau is equipped for extended cruising and has been meticulously maintained and "Dialed In" by her experienced owners with quality upgrades. The attention to detail cannot be missed when you see this vessel in person. ASSUMABLE ANACORTES MOORAGE!!
Overview of "Rarebird":
There is no lack of comfort with this 2 cabin, 2 head layout. Performance and seaworthiness is what you would expect from Beneteau and this vessel will not disappoint. Purchased new in 2004, "Rarebird" has been kept in Anacortes while also exploring Puget Sound, the San Juan Islands and the coast of British Columbia up to SE Alaska. Routine bottom cleaning by qualified divers, zinc replacements, regular bottom paint schedule with 2 coat Petit Trinidad hard shell paint and yearly detailing has contributed to her well kept quality.
Dependable Yanmar 56 HP diesel inboard has 2520 hours and has undergone regularly scheduled maintenance. This larger engine and long waterline allow trawler-like cruising speeds. Ground tackle and deck, including gennaker hardware has been installed (no gennaker included). Both heads were upgraded in 2019 with Raritan PHII marine toilets and completely rebuilt with new macerators, sanitation hoses and connectors. Also in 2019, a new Atwood water heater was installed along with all house batteries, start battery and new Balmar alternator system with serpentine belt. All cabin overhead hatches are fitted with Oceanair Marine Skyscreens to black out the cabin or provide airflow with fresh air hatch screens.
