She has been kept exclusively in freshwater since new and thoughtfully outfitted for single-handed sailing,
combining Tartan’s renowned construction and performance with a host of premium upgrades. With her carbon rig,
bow thruster, new ground tackle, and modern navigation systems, Nepenthe is turnkey and ready for extended cruising
or competitive performance sailing.
Construction and Design
- Infused BPA modified epoxy hull with NPG isophthalic gelcoat finish
- High-load areas locally reinforced; solid glass at through-hulls
- Molded 6061 T6 aluminum bar at hull-to-deck joint for strength
- Blue painted hull (custom upgrade)
- Aluminum toe rail and stainless-steel handrails (no teak for lower maintenance)
