Owners Description
Honeymoon has always been a Fresh Water Boat, and therefore in very good condition. She also has low engine hours.
Our fellow sailors envy her scoop transom, bow thruster, the electric winch on the cabin top in the cockpit, and the autopilot. They also wish they had her Harken Battcar system which raises, lowers and reefs the mainsail quickly and smoothly. Great for shorthanding.
She has been bottom painted annually with VC17.
SABRE'S distinctive "cherry" interiors are 2nd to none. Raised panel doors, solid edgings and gorgeous teak and holly cabin sole.
HONEYMOON sleeps 7. V-berth sleeps two, aft cabin sleeps two and large convertible dinette sleeps two more. The port side settee makes a great single berth.
There is storage galore, hanging lockers, drawers, cupboards, seat back storage, under berth storage, enough for the most demanding cruises!
Her cabin sports 6'4" headroom, 4 screened opening deck hatches and 9 opening port lights, 2 screened panels for the companionway and two chromed over brass dorades provide ventilation, and light throughout the vessel. There are 2 removable hatch covers to shield the sun on those few especially hot days.
Generous port side navigation station houses re-peaters for the electronics and VHF radio plus a large storage area for charts, cruising guides and traditional navigation instruments.
Port side head is large and well laid out. The space features ample storage and a marine head. Separate full stall shower with sit shelf that is roomy enough to be a delight to use.
