Ocean Sport Roamer 33’ – Walkthrough

OSR’s have been described as 4 wheel drive Ferrari’s on the water and have a cult like following for this reason.  Renowned for outstanding build quality, sportscar like performance and exceptional sea keeping ability. As the ultimate fishing machine they also have comfort and sleeping accommodation for 4 – 6 people.

Step aboard this exceptional Ocean Sport Roamer 33’ and it’s immediately clear this is a boat unlike any other. ‘Kapalua’ has been carefully upgraded and meticulously maintained - with much of the work performed by the factory - ensuring a safe and capable, turn key, go anywhere vessel.

From the dock, you can enter from the swim platform through the stern boarding gate or step onto the wide gunnels with secure handholds, either way boarding is easy and safe.  

Starting in the cockpit, you’ll find a practical, well-laid-out and massive open deck designed for both cruising and fishing. Recent upgrades and thoughtful accessories enhance usability, whether you’re reeling in a trophy fish, entertaining guests or preparing for a day on the water. Storage is abundant, and everything feels purposeful, clean, and ready to use. The full canvas enclosure offers protection from the weather and rolls up easily when fishing. There is an aft station to make docking and fishing effortless. There are six opening and lockable hatches in the cockpit sole - two for engine access, one for the SeaKeeper, one for the freezer and two for deep and ample storage.

Entering the salon, and you’re welcomed by a warm, bright and inviting interior. Large windows flood the space with natural light, highlighting the quality finishes and exceptional overall condition.

Just to port is the guest berth with a custom flip up cover that creates more privacy and extra counter space. A custom window in the bulkhead allows extra light and ventilation as well as the ability to bring long fishing rods in for safe storage. Forward to port, the seating and dinette arrangement is ideal for relaxing, dining, or converting to additional sleeping space.

To starboard the galley is well equipped, featuring a 2 burner cooktop, under counter fridge/freezer, microwave/convection oven, sink and counter space. Whether preparing a quick lunch or a proper onboard meal, it’s a galley that works just as well at anchor as it does underway. Under the galley is a large in floor storage compartment.

Moving forward, the helm offers excellent visibility in all directions. The captain and mate both have military grade Shoxs seats to handle the roughest conditions. New electronics provide confidence underway, and the ergonomic layout keeps all controls within easy reach. This is a helm designed for long days of comfortable cruising in all conditions. 

Up in the bow, the V-berth provides a comfortable and private sleeping area with storage and an Apple TV entertainment system for relaxing. The head is clean and bright, reflecting the same level of care seen throughout the vessel.

Throughout the boat, you’ll notice numerous recent improvements and accessories that add real value—enhancing comfort, safety, and reliability without detracting from the classic Ocean Sport character.
