Description
Islandah is a 2003 rugged Downeast cruiser with two helm stations and a bow thruster to operate smoothly out at sea and around boats and docks in the harbor. She has a very attractive interior with varnished teak trim throughout, white bulkheads, and clean navy blue cushions in the cabin and wheelhouse.
Her layout is well designed with the full galley up in the wheelhouse, seating and dining table. Both upper and lower helms are fully equipped with gauges, controls and navigation electronics. Headroom is 6'4". Her aft cockpit is 8'2" long x 9'8" wide for chairs and coolers.
Overall, she is well equipped, well upgraded and maintained, and a nice-looking Casco Bay Eastern cruiser!

Construction
Built by Eastern Boats, Inc in Milton, NH, with fiberglass hull and deck construction with foam core, stainless steel bow rail, fiberglass swim platform, bronze rudder with stainless steel post, fiberglass skeg, bronze rudder. The topsides are dark blue original gelcoat recently buffed, a white boot stripe with antifouling paint on the bottom. A fiberglass swim platform is off the transom. The white decks have light gray molded-in non-skid. Stainless steel bowrail is forward with handrails along cabin and wheelhouse sides. The fly bridge is fitted with stainless steel stanchions and rails with two chairs, helm to starboard. In cabin there is one opening hatch and 4 opening ports for good ventilation and natural light. Up in the wheelhouse is the galley to starboard behind the captain's chair, another forward chair to port and a settee/double berth aft. Great light and visibility with nine large windows, 7 opening.

2003 Cummins diesel 6BTA5.9M 6-cylinder, 330 HP, FWC, Serial #46216073. 1 3/4" stainless steel shaft swinging a 4-blade bronze 22" RH propeller. 1020 hours.
Hurth ZF220A with 2.04:1 ratio. Gauges at helm stations. Reverso oil exchange system.
Sidepower 3.1 kw bowthruster with single 4-blades and joystick operation.

Accommodations
In the 8'2L x 9'8" cockpit are three large centerline hatches and the vented propane locker to starboard forward of the stainless steel ladder to the fly bridge. Aft is the fiberglass swim platform mounted off the transom.
The centerline door enters the wheelhouse with a full galley to starboard. It includes a 2-burner stainless steel propane stove, microwave oven, stainless steel sink with pressure hot and cold water. Below the counter are a Norcold refrigerator and lockers and drawers. To port is the navy blue cushioned settee that converts to a double berth. Forward are port and starboard seats with storage below and the helm to starboard with overhead and dash electronics, auto pilot, bow thruster, single-lever engine controls and gauges, a destroyer wheel and electric windshield wipers. The woodwork is varnished teak, sole is teak and holly and overhead is white. Headroom is 6'4"
Down into the cabin is the rope locker in the peak, then the 6'8" navy cushioned vee berths with the enclosed head which includes a sink and shower to starboard aft of the berths. To port is a large locker and shelving. The headroom is 6'1" with a teak and holly sole and teak trim throughout.
On the flybridge are two upholstered captains' chairs with the upper helm to starboard with full controls and single-lever engine controls. There is a bimini for the flybridge.
