CONSTRUCTION
Queequeg's hull and deck were built by the Jarvis Newman Boatyard, and she was finished by Morris Yachts, both in Southwest Harbor, Maine. She is Hull #11 built in 1975. Her hull is solid fiberglass and her one-piece deck assembly is fiberglass with a balsa core with molded nonskid on decks and cockpit sole. Her teak trim, both external and in the cabin is varnished, and seven port lights are installed as well as a cabintop hatch. The external lead keel is 2000 lbs and fastened with bronze keel bolts. The deck hardware is bronze.
ENGINE
1998 Volvo Penta 4-cylinder diesel, Model 2000 series, 15 HP. Fresh water cooled. 1" bronze shaft, 3-blade bronze propeller. Single-lever controls in the cockpit. Tiller steering and new Polaris autopilot. Approximate engine hours are under 600. Access to the engine is under the companionway in the cabin.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Starting at the forward end of the cabin, aft of the rope locker is the enclosed head with a new LectraSan flush. Next aft to starboard is a charcoal cabin heating stove and an alcohol cooking stove. Next is a cushioned seat and last is the starboard quarter berth. On the port side aft of the forward bulkhead is the galley Formica covered counter with the stainless steel sink with a cold water hand pump, and a drop-down battery-cooled ice box with refrigeration. There are built-in lockers outboard and below. Next aft is a cushioned seat and then the port quarterberth. Between the two seats centerline is the teak table that converts to a single berth athwartship. There are several interior electric lights throughout the cabin as well as seven port lights with the forward one opening and a custom cabintop butterfly hatch with an etched Friendship Sloop in the glass. Cabin headroom is 4'6", cushions are upholstered with green naugahyde.
Up the companionway steps into the cockpit that seats 6. The seats and bridge deck are covered with varnished teak. An oiled teak grate covered the cockpit sole. The side, stern and fore decks have tan molded nonskid. For walking to the bow, life lines and varnished teak cabintop handrails are installed.
