Hull & Deck

• GRP hull and deck moldings with composite sandwich construction using biaxial E-glass fabrics and vacuum bagged foam core for optimal strength to weight ratio and durability. High density core inserts in way of highly loaded deck hardware. All composites engineered and constructed for ISO Cat C compliance.

• Durable white gelcoat finish on hull and deck with molded non-skid deck horizontal surfaces.

• High strength, inward turning and overlapping hull to deck joint, bonded together for strong watertight seal.

• Continuous molded toe-rail feature on the side decks.

• Structural transverse keel support grid of solid fiberglass beams individually tabbed to hull. Accessible via centerline floorboard.

• Forward, main and aft structural bulkheads of GRP composite sandwich construction using biaxial E-glass fabrics.

• 5-year structural warranty.

• Large self-draining, secure sit-in cockpit with comfortable articulated backrests. • Swim platform with transom boarding access.

• 3.8’ draft low VCG cast lead keel strengthened with antimony, with 316 SS bolts, backing plates and single-point lifting bar for easy launch and haul.

• Transom-mounted GRP molded rudder with cast 316 SS transom and rudder hardware and SS pivot pin.

• Articulating custom molded tiller with tiller extension.

 

Deck Hardware

• 4:1 low-friction ball bearing mainsheet system led to single ratchet block with swivel cam cleat on post forward of tiller.

• Two jib T-tracks on cabin top with adjustable plunger-style jib cars and 2:1 jib sheet terminations.

• Harken jib furling system with control line led to cockpit-mounted cam cleat.

• Two Harken Snubbair winches mounted on cabin top with Harken 150 cam cleats.

• Adjustable backstay system secured to transom mounted cast padeyes P&S, with backstay purchase control lines led to cam cleats on aft end of cockpit seats.

• One 8" winch handle with storage pocket.

• Molded companionway slider with removable and locking drop board.

• Two stainless steel grab-rails on coach roof P&S.

• Two stainless grab-rails on aft end of cockpit seats with termination points for quick release mainsheet bridle P&S.

• U-bolt attachment with substantial backing plate for forestay.

• Custom SS fabricated chainplates for shrouds.

• Two foredeck and two transom mounted mooring cleats.

Spars & Rigging

• Tapered, fractional, deck-stepped aluminum mast with single sweptback spreaders. Mast includes halyard sheaves, halyard cleats, fittings for boom and boom vang attachments, masthead crane, and Gibb T style shroud termination points. Spars are anodized and powder coated white.

• Tabernacle hinge arrangement for mast stepping and lowering operations.

• Aluminum boom with 8:1 outhaul, mainsheet attachment points, sheaves for the outhaul and reef line.

• Solid boomvang with 9:1 cascading purchase/cleat system.

• Standing rigging: 1x19 wire forestay & shrouds with adjustable open-body turnbuckles.

• Running rigging package including main halyard, jib halyard, main sheet, mainsheet bridle, two jib sheets, reef line, backstay line, boomvang line, Cunningham and furler line.

 

Interior

• Molded V-berth platform (6’ in length) with inspection port including integral forward ring frame bulkhead with open access to forepeak area.

• Bench style molded settee berths (5.5’ in length) with storage below.

• Anodized aluminum compression post to transfer mast loads to primary internal bulkhead.

• Open storage aft of the settees and on centerline.

• Cockpit support bulkhead with inspection port and drain plug.

• Air-dry gelcoat finish on interior hull & deck surfaces.

• Removable molded companionway entry step, secured with slide-bolt locks.

• Molded cabin floor with nonskid finish and removable centerline floorboard to access bilge area.

• Single point lifting bar under companionway step.
