SILVER SEAS is a 107-foot Burger Motor Yacht—an American aluminum classic that has undergone an extraordinary multi-year refit and renewal, emerging as a comprehensively refreshed and mechanically renewed example of Burger’s enduring craftsmanship. Built in 1998 by Burger Boat Company and designed by Don O’Keeffe, she was commissioned by an experienced yachtsman as his second Burger—an endorsement of the brand’s reputation for quality and longevity. Refit

This was not merely a cosmetic refit. SILVER SEAS underwent a comprehensive, multi-year restoration addressing her exterior finishes, mechanical systems, and interior spaces. Major works included, but were not limited to:

• Complete hull re-fairing prior to repainting

• Full hull paint (2024) and superstructure refinishing

• Removal and professional re-bedding of all exterior windows

• Main engine and transmission overhauls

• Extensive servicing and renewal of major mechanical and onboard systems

• Renewal of air conditioning ducting and air handlers

• Upgraded insulation

• Tile installation in select areas

Mechanical Updates

• Powered by twin MTU 16V2000 engines, 1,800 HP each 

• The engines now reflect approximately 500 hours since major overhaul, effectively resetting their mechanical life cycle

• These in-frame rebuilds included new crankshaft components, bearings, cylinders, and related systems — work comparable in scope to factory remanufacture standards

• Transmissions rebuilt

Accommodations

SILVER SEAS offers a rare, highly sought after four guest stateroom layout which comfortably accommodates eight in four ensuite staterooms. The guest accommodation is accessed from the main salon, starboard side foyer. A staircase, in a gently curving radius, descends to the foyer that provides access to all four staterooms. In addition to the staterooms, a linen closet and laundry center can be accessed from the foyer.

Crew Accommodations

Interior Living

The main salon showcases classic Burger craftsmanship, with rich cherry joinery, expansive windows, refined moldings, and an overall sense of understated elegance. Forward in the salon, a formal dining area offers ample storage for china and glassware, designed to remain secure during offshore cruising. A hidden wet bar is elegantly concealed behind solid wood doors on the forward bulkhead, complete with a wine fridge and ice maker.

Forward on the port side, the main midship entry foyer features beautiful tile flooring, with a concealed day head directly opposite the entry door. Beyond the raised pilothouse, the country kitchen invites social gatherings with expansive windows, a large center island, and a U-shaped settee surrounding a stone table—perfect for casual dining or entertaining.

Pilothouse and Navigation

The raised pilothouse provides commanding visibility from the Stidd helm chair and the forward-facing settee, complete with a beautifully crafted solid wood table. Exterior Living

Aft Deck

The aft deck features a teak sole with a built-in settee, solid teak table, and varnished chairs perfect for entertaining or relaxing outdoors. Exterior wing doors on either side provide wind protection and lead to the generous walk-around side decks.

Foredeck

The foredeck offers expansive sun pads along the centerline, ideal for sunbathing or lounging. Forward on either side, large storage bench seats are complemented by a U-shaped, aft-facing forepeak settee, creating a comfortable space for gatherings.
