Description
Originally built in 2009 in Portsmouth England as a proof of concept vessel for the Royal Marines. This large self propelled aluminum catamaran landing craft is 75% complete in the process of being re-purposed to a commercial boat. The current owners plans have changed and this robustly constructed aluminum vessel presents a great opportunity for a commercial operator that can step in and complete the work.
Designed with twin engines and twin hydraulic bow thrusters for precision maneuvering and a WOT speed approaching 24 knots. The T1 has a 150 ton deck capacity with hydraulic bow and stern ramps that extend the deck by another 44 feet making an ideal platform for cable laying, survey and repair work.
With an onboard 50KW 460/230/3 phase generator and a 200HP 3000PSI 60GPM hydraulic system, there is plenty of power to spare.
The following remains to be finished:
Still to complete:
Installation of Electrical systems that were disconnected when originally decommissioned
Installation of hydraulic pump and re-connecting Hydraulic lines for Bow thrusters & Ramps
Main Shafts, Stern tubes, Cutlass bearings etc all installed.
Rudders & steering gear installed, Servo motors to be installed.
Brand new engines are installed, alignment complete and coupling hard bolted, Fuel lines need to be connected, glycol to be added and run up
Genset installed and plumbed, Fuel lines need to be connected, glycol to be added and run up
