Almost 1200 of this William Shaw design were built at the Pearson Yacht Yard in Portsmouth, Rhode Island yard between 1971 - 1981. P30s are known for their interior layout, hull design, and single-handed capabilities. DYER WOLF was re- powered in 2018 with a 2003 Volvo 28 hp with 800 hours and has a fully battened Mainsail, Genoa, and Spinnaker.
She is equipped with a chart plotter, compass, and VHF. Below decks she comfortably sleeps 5-6, has a spacious layout, a convertible settee, and plenty of storage. The Galley has a stainless steel sink, 2 burner stove, and an icebox, and there is a marine head. Newer upgrades include a diesel heater, an automatic electric bilge, new batteries, new interior LED lights, and the addition of solar panels with a solar charge controller.
