"The nice feature of the Mainship is that you can run at displacement trawler speeds of 8 knots and burn 5 gallons an hour or increase to 10 to 12 knots and burn 10 to 12 gallons an hour - not bad for a big, heavy boat, "And it's nice to know that you have the speed available to outrun a storm or if the grandkids are waiting for us at the dock."
