Monk 36 Walk Through

You can board Miss Mary amidships via either port or starboard side boarding gates and either proceed forward to the bow, aft to the flybridge and aft deck or into the main cabin by port or starboard sliding doors. Once in the main cabin you will find the lower helm starboard forward, the full U-shaped galley starboard aft and a large U-shaped setee with fold out, hi-lo table along the port bulkhead. The companionway port aft leads to the master stateroom and ensuite master head. The companionway centered forward leads to the guest stateroom and guest head. Back on deck you can access the flybridge and aft deck from either port or starboard aft corner steps and further aft you will find swim platform and tender. Access to the engine room is via sole hatches in the main cabin.

Monk 36 Accommodations

Miss Mary offers a master stateroom aft with double berth along the starboard bulkhead and an ensuite head starboard forward. The guest stateroom is forward and features a v-berth. The guest wet head is just outside the guest stateroom to port.

Monk 36 Main Cabin

The Main Cabin features the Salon, Galley and Lower Helm. 

The salon offers a large U-shaped built in setee to port. A four place, fold out, hi-lo table is mounted in front of the setee. Companionways fore and aft lead to berthing. A large 31" Samsung smart TV is mounted above the microwave, forward in the galley and adjacent to the salon setee. The lower helm is located starboard forward in the main cabin and the galley is starboard aft. Hardwood floors, walls and overhead accents are all in good condition. Large windows on all four sides provides natural light to the space and three of the windows have screens and open for natural ventilation. Three hatches in the sole provide more than adequate access to the engine room.

The galley is located along the port bulkhead in the main cabin and features:

Monk 36 Master Stateroom

The full beam master stateroom is located in the stern of the yacht and under the aft deck. The master stateroom features a double berth along the starboard bulkhead with a large set of drawers underneath, a narrow shelf with a larger corner shelf above the berth and a reading light. A louvered wood door aft in the stateroom opens to the steerage compartment with more storage space available. I large hanging locker is in the port aft corner and also houses the 16k BTU reverse cycle air conditioner\heater. Drawers and cabinets are along the port bulkhead. There are three large windows in the space, two with screens that open and an overhead escape hatch all provide natural light and ventilation to the space. The sole, bulkheads and overhead accents are all hardwood and in nice condition. Access to the ensuite head is starboard forward in the space.

Monk 36 Master Head

The ensuite head features a vanity with a marble counter top with under counter mounted porcelain sink, a Jabsco manual flush toilet and half size tub with large shower stall and wood bench seat. The vanity has over and under counter storage cabinets as well as a mirrored medicine cabinet above the sink. The sole and cabinet accents are are hardwood and a single portlight provides natural light and ventilation to the space.

Monk 36 Guest Stateroom

The forward guest stateroom offers a V-berth, 2 port lights, overhead hatch, reading lights, small shelf running the length above each berth, hanging locker, storage drawers and cabinet, hardwood sole and access to the anchor locker.

Monk 36 Guest Wet Head

The guest wet head is to port just outside the guest stateroom and features a vanity with a marble counter top with under counter mounted porcelain sink and a Jabsco manual flush toilet. A track for a shower curtain is in the overhead and a shower faucet is built into the vanity. The vanity has over and under counter storage cabinets as well as a mirrored medicine cabinet above the sink. The sole and cabinet accents are are hardwood and a single portlight provides natural light and ventilation to the space.

Monk 36 Flybridge and Aft Deck

The flybridge is fully enclosure with hardtop and Isinglass (new in 2022), Captain and navigator bench seats on either side, a full helm, aft seating area with storage, cooler and three folding cushioned chairs and propane locker under the helm.
