Construction

Solid E-glass bottom laminate, foam-cored topsides, vinylester osmosis barrier, foam-cored E-glass stringers and bulkheads, painted bilge, custom louvered vents painted to match hull, extruded vinyl sheer guard, molded interior liner, E-glass fabric deck with foam-cored laminate and molded non-skid pattern, teak/stainless steel swim ladder with stainless-steel handle mounted on transom, and integral anchor locker with hinged hatch in foredeck. Self-bailing cockpit with L-settee with storage under, custom bolster back rest; doublewide Harrier style, twin thigh bolsters fore and aft adjustable, engine-box seat cushion with seat back. Power-assisted hydraulic steering with tilt wheel. Solex- glass windshield with handrails and side vents. "Flag Blue" hull with "Oyster White" boottop and deck, vinyl gold-leaf cove stripe, and red bottom.

Engine

Volvo D6 370-hp raw-water cooled diesel I/O engine with duo-prop outdrive (two counter-rotating 3-blade stainless steel propellers). Electric bow thruster with joystick control, trim tabs with position indicator, custom muffler and composite sound-reduction insulation. Cruising speed 30 kn., 36 kn. at full throttle.

950 hours on engine meter.

Tanks

Two 75-gal. fuel tanks, one 28-gal. water tank (hot and cold pressure-water system), 6-gal. hot-water tank, 15-gal. holding tank.

Electrical

Two 12V marine batteries, 20-amp battery charger, circuit-breaker panel with battery switch, two 30-amp/110V shore- power outlets (with galvanic isolator), 12V outlet at helm. 1,000W inverter.

Accommodations

Teak companionway door and sliding hatch (varnished) recessed under console hood. Sunbrella-covered berth with storage under. Single Sunbrella-covered seat converts to berth extension. Drawer set located at aft face of berth. Enclosed head with shower, shower curtain and sump pump; hot and cold pressure water, molded sink with Corian countertop, in-counter recessed trash bin and satin-finish cherry storage cabinets; electric freshwater toilet with Y- valve and holding tank; towel rack and clothes hooks, mirror, recessed soap holder, separate shower wand. Hanging locker port side. Satin-finish cherry bulkhead trim and fiddles, faux teak and holly cabin sole. Overhead dome lights in cuddy and head and two reading lamps. Helm outfitted with fiberglass control console with varnished teak shelf, handholds, and trim; custom teak steering wheel; custom teak engine-instrument cluster, outboard glove box. Majilite vinyl cockpit cushions with perforated center panels and contrasting piping, custom teak bridge deck table (varnished) with removable pedestal base and padded Stamoid cover, hot and cold pressure shower on transom, 4 LED courtesy cockpit lights. Exterior galley features 64-quart refrigerator with freezer, sink recessed into top; Corian counter top, sink cover, and lift-out with cutting board on reverse side; flip-out trash can. Interior ventilation via Lewmar cabin hatch with screen and 2 Lewmar opening ports with screens.

Ground Tackle

14-lb. Delta anchor with 15' of 1/4" chain and 200' of 1/2" rode, Lewmar 700 windlass with anchor roller and extra cleat (deck and helm controls).

The development of the Hunt Harrier 29 was driven by the success of our Harrier 25, with customers asking for the same Harrier style on a larger platform. Harrier 29's increased length takes advangate of our Surfhunter 29 hull, already well proven and widely admired for its capabilities, efficiency and performance. The Harrier 29 is intended to be more of a dayboat, which is immediately obvious in the huge and inviting cockpit. An on-deck galley makes entertaining even more fun, with helm and companion seats, L-settee, enginebox and cross-transom seating for ten, and with superb visibility for sightseeing made even more appealing by the soft, dry ride for which Hunt Yachts are so widely praised. The forward cabin includes V-berth, enclosed stand-up head and stowage - all without affecting the sleek, classic profile.
