Peter Schmidt
Peter has been involved in the boating industry for over 35 years, as a captain, boat yard owner, and for the past 20 years as a Yacht Broker. He founded United Yacht Sales when he saw a demand for a brokerage firm where experienced brokers could join together and pool their resources. United Yacht Sales recruits only experienced brokers, who are capable of making their own decisions and therefore represent a direct line to the client. The most important aspect of a good relationship with a broker and client is to trust each other and this can only be accomplished when both parties are making the decisions. Peter has sold luxury yachts, pleasure boats, and smaller day boats. His interest is not in any one particular type of boat but in the relationships and process of finding the right boat for each of his clients.
