Christopher Cooke
Born in Watertown, NY, Christopher Cooke grew up boating and sailing on Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. His career in the boating business began in the mid 90’s, after he proudly served a four-year tour in the Army as an Infantry Medic with the 10th Mountain Division (1/87 Light Infantry), in both Somalia and Haiti.
Chris’ vast knowledge encompasses a multitude of boat lines, both power and sail, ranging from 20’-220’ feet which he has sold over the course of his 20 plus-year career, selling and managing close to a billion dollars in transactions. He is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB) and has his 100-gross ton Captain’s license. Chris is well-rounded, his knowledge of the marine industry, and what the market trends are, make him the broker other brokers turn to for advice.
Currently, Chris works as a full-time Yacht Broker for his clients, manages his own team of brokers throughout the East Coast and owns a yacht management company, to better serve his client’s needs before and after the sale.
Chris believes in giving back to the community, dedicating his time to serving on various charitable Boards of Directors. Needless to say, his favorite thing to do on a rare day off is to go boating with his family.
